The ASKOM a.s. Joint - Stock Company was founded in 1990 as an engineering office with the objective to provide complex services to our customers in the sphere of equipment for production of hot asphalt mixtures. Consultancy services, technical solutions processing for modernization, assistance in searching for new locations including representation in negotiations with state administration bodies - to name just a few of many services ASKOM is prepared to offer.
The principal subject of our activities is supply of new asphalt mixing plants of our own design - VS type series. Their installation, putting into operation, operator training, warranty and post-warranty service are commonplace for our Company. Nowadays the VS series consists of several types of equipment we would like briefly introduce to you.
The basis is a mixing unit with the capacity of 1 to 4 tons. By combining other important components (drying drum, screener) in different ways we are able to put together a mixing plant exactly in compliance with the customer’s needs, with outputs from 60 to 320 t/h. In many cases the customer may use current machinery (dosing feeders, silos for finished mixture, filler storage bins, etc.).
ASKOM aims its business activities also at foreign markets. A network of trade agencies successfully operates in several countries; we regularly participate in a number of important trade fairs, exhibitions, and specialized events. Today, after successful completing of many orders, we can quite boldly say that ASKOM ranks among a group of top European suppliers of asphalt mixing plants.
